Alleys
Whether you live in the country or in a city, one should know how to maneuver throughout their area without being noticed. If you live in a rural setting, then your tool is the woods. If you live in an urban setting, then your tool is alleys.
While different cities have their own approach to alleys in both function and layout, the general idea of using them to conceal your movement is applicable. And although front door cameras are prevalent, they are less likely to be found in alleys, with exceptions for small businesses and high rises. Even so, you will avoid the eyes of the average pedestrian and will find short cuts too.
If you live in a city, I challenge you to find routes from “Point A to Point B” by using only/mostly alleys. Perhaps try to get from your house/apartment to a friend’s place this way. Think of alleys as a cities “backroads”. #FindYourHill
