Hospitals/Immediate Care

While it may sound redundant, you should know where the assets and liabilities are within your area. Hospitals and immediate care facilities being extremely important assets.

Whether it be a large scale emergency, or a personal one, it would be wise to know how to navigate to your nearest hospital and/or immediate care facility without any navigational assistance. The best way to do this is to go through a simple check list. If the answer is “yes” to a question then move to the next one. If the answer is “no”, find the answer.

Do you know where your closest hospital is located? What about the closest immediate care facility? Are they within walking distance? If not, what is the fastest route to avoid traffic? Do you know a nurse or doctor who could assist you at home?

It would also be wise to know where your closest fire station is as they will have EMTs on site. #FindYourHill
