Blog Post Title One

It is easy to get caught up in one’s circle, or worse, feel like you are alone. The best way to conquer this is by finding common ground with your neighbors. In order to do this, we must understand that there are few perfect “matches” as everyone holds different beliefs to one degree or another.

If your neighbor enjoys gardening, ask them for advice and see if they will help you build your own garden. If your neighbor is a mechanic, either by trade or hobby, focus conversations on what they know and try to learn from them. If your neighbor is into camping/hiking then plan a quick trip together. Or, if your neighbor recently bought their first firearm and is looking to go to the range, invite them along next time you go.

The possible scenarios are only limited by your imagination. In some cases you will be the one learning. In those cases, focus on your neighbor. Most people get excited to teach others about the skills/interests that they have. And if you are the one teaching, be patient and welcoming as you do not want to put someone off of a valuable skill simply because you came off as cold.

As always, the key is to build relationships with those around you. And in these instances, you can better yourselves with various skills while gaining camaraderie and having a good time. #FindYourHill
