Another phenomenal way to connect with like minded individuals within your area is by attending church. And going regularly provides a handful of opportunities that cannot be found through alternative means.

-You know that most people attending live in the immediate area. This opens the door to meet more people who may not be direct neighbors, but are only a 15 minute drive away.

-You know that most people attending share similar beliefs. This allows you to engage more freely as common ground has already been established.

-You will find people around your age. If your church is attached to a school, then there will be parents attending with their children. This will help you meet young parents to bond with, and also provides a chance for your children, if you have any, to meet other kids who are being raised with similar values. And if you are single, it will offer a chance to meet other single and like minded individuals.

-It creates a habit. By attending weekly, you set a routine that holds you accountable. Along with that, your peers will hold you accountable as it will be noticed if you have not been seen for a few weeks.

-You will be exposed to further networking opportunities. Churches routinely hold events for fellow members to mingle. Sometimes it is weekly coffee and doughnuts, other times it is a yearly dinner or bbq.

-Lastly, it will help YOU grow. Regardless of the denomination, having faith is an invaluable tool. It molds one into a moral being who does not conform to the trend of the day. By doing this, you will attract other strong willed individuals and grow a tribe that has resolve.
